IT Technical Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, mentor, and manage the technical team across development, QA, and infrastructure functions
2. Own end-to-end technical delivery of IT projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
3. Drive Agile practices including Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
4. Architect and review solutions built on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
5. Oversee database design, optimization, and query performance across MS SQL and MySQL environments
6. Manage version control workflows and code repositories using GitHub
7. Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external/clients) to gather requirements, set expectations, and provide regular project updates
8. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and best practices across the technology stack
9. Evaluate and integrate PHP-based legacy or parallel systems where required
10. Identify technical risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
11. Support hiring, training, and performance evaluation of technical team members
12. Liaise with leadership to align technology strategy with business goals

Key Requirements

1. Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Head or equivalent leadership role
2. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (mandatory)
3. Working understanding of Angular
4. Solid experience in PHP
5. Strong command of MS SQL, MySQL, Database Queries, and SQL optimization
6. Hands-on experience with GitHub and version control systems
7. Proven expertise in Agile Methodology and Sprint Planning
8. Demonstrated Stakeholder Management and Team Management capabilities
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Educational Qualification

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
